Thermal insulation construction of foam concrete roof is an efficient and environmentally friendly roof treatment technology. The lightweight porous structure is formed by pouring foamed cement to achieve multiple functions such as thermal insulation, heat insulation and waterproof.
Construction points and process:
1、 Construction preparation
Material requirements
The density of foam concrete is generally 400-800kg/m ³, and the thermal conductivity is 0.08-0.18W/(m · K).
Cement, foaming agents, etc. must comply with design standards and avoid moisture or exposure to sunlight.
Grassroots treatment
Clean up debris on the roof, repair cracks, and ensure that the structural layer is flat and free of standing water.
Fill the root of the pipe tightly with fine aggregate concrete.

2、 Construction process
Elevation control
According to the design thickness and slope, use cement mortar to stick ash cakes or tie wires for reinforcement.
Pouring and leveling
Mix the foaming agent with cement slurry to form uniform foam concrete through mechanical mixing.
After pumping and pouring, use a scraper to smooth and finish the surface to control its flatness.
Maintenance
Start curing immediately after initial setting, and keep the surface moist for 7-14 days in high temperature environments, with the first 3 days being particularly critical.

3、 Advantages and Precautions
Advantages:
Good overall integrity, with the same lifespan as the building, replacing traditional materials such as polystyrene board and coal slag is more environmentally friendly.
Easy construction, no need for vibration, reducing labor intensity.
Attention:
Avoid construction on rainy days or at low temperatures (<5 ℃).
To prevent cracking during maintenance, regular watering is required
